I am working as Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Food Science and Technology, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan. My research interests include Food Sciences especially fruits and vegetables, Post-harvest technology, Beverages for their product development, processing, and preservation. Currently, I am supervising Ph.D. and M.Sc. (Hons.) students working on different aspects of fruits and vegetables. I have worked on various research-funded projects like PARB, ADP, and industry-academia linkages.  I have published many national, international research papers, books and book chapters as author and co-author.

Role in pknc

As Co-chair of product development and value addition, I will work on the development of dried, drinks, nectars, beverages with the concept of supplementation, fortification, low-cost and demand have driven innovative value-added products from fruits and vegetables. The process will be optimized, storage studies with a collection of quality data and commercialization of such food products with the collaboration of food industrial partners
