EXPERTISE
I am Dr. Amna Sahar, working as Associate Professor in University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF), Pakistan. I did my MSc in Food & Nutrition from University of Rennes 1 France, and PhD in Food Engineering and Technology from Agrocampus Rennes, France. I did my Post Doctorate research in Meat Science and Technology in Teagasc Food Research Centre, Ashtown, Ireland. I have published more than 45 scientific papers in international journals (LWT-Food Science and Technology, Food Research International, Meat Science, Critical Reviews in Food Science and Nutrition, Foods etc.). I am running several national and international research projects from different funding agencies. My area of interest is Food Engineering and Technology with special reference to data analysis. I have expertise in advance analytical techniques including spectroscopy and chemometrics. One PhD and 35 MSc (Hons.) students have completed their degrees under my supervision. At present, I am supervising 5 PhD and 7 MSc (Hons.) students. At UAF, I helped launch BSc (Hons) Food Engineering, then MSc (Hons) Food Engineering programs and multiple batches of students have passed out of these programs
