Dr. Muhammad issa khan

I am working as a Associate Professor at National Institute of Food Science and Technology, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad-Pakistan. I attained my studies and professional trainings from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Seoul National University, South Korea and University of Illinois, Urbana–Champaign. My research is focused on quality and nutritional improvement of meat and meat products. At same time I am also working on development and quality assessment of functional foods. I have supervised 06 Ph.D. and 80 MS students research for their degrees and earned Research Productivity Award twice by Pakistan Council of Science and Technology based on his research, scholarly publication and contribution to Science and Technology. I have completed 04 Research Projects as Principal Investigator and was part of around 10 Research Projects as Co- Principal Investigator. Currently, I am running a research project on transforming food system to tackle protein energy malnutrition and micronutrients deficiencies.
